On occasion of Norway celebration 200 years with a constitution Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik attended the celebration in the Opera House, Copenhagen. They were accompanied by Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, Prince Joachim, Princess Marie and Princess Benedikte. From Norway attended Queen Sonja and Crown Prince Haakon.

A day of celebration, an important day of celebration. To honor Norway on the 200th anniversary with the constitution Queen Sonja of Norway and Crown Prince Haakon of Norway were invited to Denmark to celebrate the anniversary along with Queen Margrethe, the Crown Prince couple, Prince Joachim, Princess Marie, Princess Benedikte and 1,000 other special invited guests from both Norway and Denmark. The guests were introduced to Danish and Norwegian music, ballet and lots of speeches during this very special evening. With everything from windy, rainy and sunny weather they all arrived to the Danish Opera in Copenhagen. Nu hurt feelings when the royal family arrived when it rained. The two Queen's protected themselves from the rain with an umbrella. Crown Prince Haakon arrived accompanied by Frederik and Mary, who all seemed to enjoy each others company.  Just me or is it lovely to see the Haakon, Frederik and Mary together? -always seems like they are having such a good time. They all did a quick and elegant entrance arriving to the Opera located right across Amalienborg castle. My guess is that Queen Sonja and her son are staying at Amalienborg while they are in Denmark.

Lightning up the room like a Queen, Mary arrived to the Opera accompanied by her husband and Crown Prince Haakon in her brand new evening gown! A colourful dream identified as Erdem by Pernille. I simply adore this dress. I'm not sure I would have worn anything like this at such an event but that's why I love Mary; always something surprising and unexpected. Makes her look really stunning. Could stare at her in the dress for hours, there are so many beautiful details -sleeves, shape, opening at her back, length etc. Really, isn't it just amazing? I'm thrilled and even more when I noticed her hairstyle. The most beautiful braided chignon. Lost my breath for a moment. As much as I love talking about fashion and clothes, I love talking about hair and beauty. Incredible, almost artistic. Styling the new silk dress and stunning hairstyle, she wore wonderful earrings from one of the most talented Danish jewellery designers, Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. The flower earrings features 214 shiny diamonds. To match the earrings she accessorized her evening look with two, very expensive, Annikat diamond cuffs -designed as wings. She introduced them to us at the wedding in Sweden when Princess Madeleine married Christopher O'Neill last year, 2013. Wauw isn't she just lovely? Wearing her black satin pumps and box clutch from Prada I think this is one of the best evening outfits we have seen this year. Mary is just always looking her best, no matter where she goes which she something I've learned from her: always look your best because you want to.

From early morning the royal couple were celebrated on occasion of their 10th anniversary.Ten years, that is just unbelievably. Have the feeling that they got married yesterday. I know I've already congratulated them, here, but really it's not every day our favourite couple celebrate their 10th anniversary so; congratulations! In the morning they enjoyed breakfast together at City Hall in Stettin, Poland. As gift they received a beautiful cake. Together they cut a piece of the cake as on the wedding day. Smiling and laughing, the couple seemed to enjoy every single moment. And of course it was not the only time that day they were celebrated and congratulated. After the reception at the City Hall Mary visited KK Electronics and then a children's hospital where she was welcomed by the most incredible little girl, patent at the hospital, who gave Mary a single flower which she received with great pleasure. Mary had already had a beautiful bouquet of flowers at the arrival. Completely fallen in love with the little girl, Mary chose to hand over her white bouquet to her. The most wonderful series of photos. All meanwhile Frederik attended a conference on wind power and a seminar Waste Management, responsive to everything he heard and learned during the seminar. I'm sure there was no better way to end this official visit then by celebrating Frederik and Mary!

In my opinion Mary always dresses perfectly but at special days like these, I think everybody pays extra attention to what she's wearing. She different knows how to dress for special occasions. Radiating in her lovely L.K. Bennett peplum featuring a blue optic flower print. I'm surprised by her choice but I love what I see! She paired the top with a simple black pencil skirt, a tiny belt and of course new purple pumps. Yes, that's right purple pumps. With what I see, hear and read these new pumps may be from Jimmy Choo. Because non of us have found the right model yet, we can't be a 100 % sure but when I compare the two of them, there is no doubt in my mind. Jimmy Choo has to be the designer. Maybe with the help from you girls, we'll be able to find what we all are looking for.  Arriving to the City Hall she wore a plain white Prada coat. Having never thought that blue and purple is such a great match, what do you think? -something you'd every consider wearing? She accessorized her outfit with lots of dazzling jewelleries; matching earrings and a ring from Pomellato, another bracelet from Shamballa Jewels and yet another very interesting bracelet given to her by her husband probably because of their anniversary. The bracelet features four "shadows" for each of their four children, centered by a pendant with their initials -F M. This wonder was made by Ragnar R. Jørgensen, here. No doubt that Frederik loves and adore his wife. So lovely! Last but not least she wore a blue Quidam clutch. Also notice her beautiful curly hair; it's simply wonderful.

This is all from Poland. Soon the couple will be back in Denmark.

10 years of anniversary!

Congratulations and happy anniversary!

Well, I know that Frederik and Mary celebrated their 10th years of anniversary on Wednesday, May 14, but I have had much to do lately. However, this do not stop me from sending them the best of wishes on their anniversary and make this post. Before I begin talking, I'll let you know that the royal family have published a gallery of the couple's ten years together, here.

All of you know the story about how they met, when and how many children they have etc. and because this blog is about Crown Princess Mary’s style, this post will take you a little back in time and talk about her style over the years. When she came to Denmark in 2003-2004, Mary was quickly known as the “fashion-princess” because she was often seen attending fashion shows in Copenhagen. She has previously said that she did not only wanted to be the fashion princess, but wanted to show the Danes that she was much more than just clothes. A few years later Mary had proven that she indeed was much more then a fashion princess. She was the Princess everybody wanted a glimpse of - sweet, smiling, good looking, eloquent and more important she has chosen to help the voiceless, girls and women, children, fight loneliness and much more. Because of the massive focus on her being interested in fashion, there were also a huge focus on her style and what she was wearing. Who do not remember the beautiful wedding dress designed by Uffe Frank and created by Birgit Hallstein? And the blue Hugo Boss jacket she was wearing when she showed us little Prince Christian for the first time? Or the purple dress made by Henrik Hviid she wore at a new year banquet? Right from the start Mary wore stylish, elegant and sophisticated clothes we all just adored. Through out her 10 years in Denmark she has been wearing clothes from Danish and international designers. No doubt that Mary helps to determine which clothes she wears with some help from Anja Camilla Alajdi, her stylist.

Mary's style is quite easy to copy which is nice when you can't afford to buy what she actually wears. She always masters to mix and match colours, prints with fringes and beads. She shows us how to reuse clothes year after year in new combinations that always looks stylish. Mary just knows how to dress appropriate. I could talk about this for hours, instead I would like to hear why you like her style so much. Please, leave a comment and let me know. Once again hold congratulate the couple!

Sarah Hartmann,
”I like Mary’s style because she almost always looks right for the occasion but still tries different things. She doesn’t just wear plain colours all the time and her jewellery is stunning! She is also very good at wearing older clothes in new ways.”

1165,
”What I love about Mary is that she never forgets she is Crown Princess of Denmark. She has managed to morf her style-likes of florals, pattern and flounces yet keeps them modern and refined. So many of crown princesses have to given an adjustment period to adjust to her new position.”

Tesouras & Tiaras,
”I love Mary's style, because in addition to always be suitable and elegant, she is above all VERY versatile. Mary usually wears clothes and accessories quite pricey, but it's amazing how she manages to create several new looks with the same pieces that she has for several years. That´s doing a great recycling of expensive parts. We can expect to see Mary in several styles, with gowns, suits, skirts, trousers.... She actually wears the clothes and not the opposite (which happens with several royal ladies). Above all, the style reflects more than fashion labels, in my opinion it is the attitude of the person what really matters. And maybe that's why Mary is so happy in their choice of clothes. She has enough confidence in herself and in what she represents. That combined with a good figure is all that it takes to a winner style. And Mary is Queen on that kingdom!”

Not like yesterday, the couple had several places to visit on their own. The both started early, ready to spend one more day in Poland. While Frederik attended a 20th anniversary of Lantmännen Unibake, Mary visited a seminar on lifestyle diseases and on that occasion she visited a hospital, followed by a visit at Synapsis Foundation Therapeutic Kindergarden for children with Autism. With a huge smile on her face she arrived to the kindergarten and was welcomed by children with gifts to the Princess coming all the way from Denmark and was now visiting them. Mary seemed to enjoy spending some time with the children, who was a bit shy meeting her. About an hour later she visited LEGO and New Horizon Foundation's children's film festival meanwhile Frederik attended a debate about energy followed by a debate on diabetes. After her visit at the film festival Mary attended the opening of a design exhibition, a conference on Enhancing Quality of Life and visited an ECCO, Pandora and Ole Lynggaard flagship store.

With what she wore yesterday I admit I've had high expectation to what she would be wearing today. After ten years I doubt Mary will every disappoint me and she didn't! Darker colours than yesterday but simply smashing. Both blouse and pencil skirt are reused pieces. If I'm right, the skirt is a part of a navy blue suit (hereherehere) worn in around 2006, 2008 and 2012. But the skirt is for sure not the first thing you notice about her outfit, it has to be the paisley printed blouse from Axara Paris. Right? Despite we have seen it once before, I think it looks completely new because she wore it with a slim pencil skirt. That I hadn't seen coming. Just great! Think this outfit would do great in Autumn as well. In the same colour combo as the rest of the outfit Mary was wearing a pair of new earrings which I haven't been able to ID yet. The style reminds me so much of Jewlscph but I can't seem to find the right one. Any other ideas? Think they really lovely and it looks good with the hairdo. Btw was the earrings the only new piece she wore during her second day. Never mind, you probably already knew that. Perfectly matching, Mary dazzled in a pair of beige Christian Louboutin pumps and expensive quilted Chanel handbag. What is not to love about this? Feminine, classy and fun. Oh... not to forget her Shamballa Jewels bracelet and Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond rings.

Crown Prince Frederik & Crown Princess Mary attending a reception at the Embassy

After a long day separated from each other, the couple attended a reception at the Danish Ambassador in Warsaw. I just have to say this; the Crown Prince couple makes a great couple! Arriving side by side to the Danish Embassy in Poland, they makes me so proud and happy. They both look great and seems to enjoying themselves. Standing next to each other they greeted each and everyone who had been invited. Several times during the session Frederik and Mary were laughing and having fun with the guests. Down on earth as always which is really why we just love them so much, all without compromising who they are and what role they play as part of the royal family.

The second I saw Mary arriving to that reception at the Danish Embassy I was taken breathless... I am as surprised and amazed whether she's wearing new or reused piece of clothes but when we get a whole new outfit, never seen before, well that is special. I love how she managed to pair two rather eye catching items this good. Makes me want to try something similar. According to Billed Bladet her new beaded blouse is from Ralph Lauren (Ralph Lauren Collection). A simple design but still very interesting featuring a beaded collar as a statement necklace. Think it is the first time we see her with that kind of "necklace", isn't it? After this I would love to see her wear that size necklaces again. With help from the sweetest readers in the world I now know that the metallic pencil skirt is from SAND Copenhagen. Thanks everybody! I like how her clothes is center of attention and she wearing small jewelleries. Then she dazzled wearing a bright yellow Yves Saint Laurent clutch that makes me want a yellow clutch right away and of course a pair of black Gianvito Rossi pumps. Of all my heart I hope to see these pieces some day again. Last we have her incredible hairdo. Seems to be one of her favourites these days. Making a chignon is pretty easy and there are a million ways to create them. I have found some that'll maybe inspire you to try them out, here

This is really a perfect way to end a day.

Crown Prince Frederik & Crown Princess Mary during their first day in Poland

Finally, the time is up for Frederik and Mary to go on an official visit to Poland. Something I have been waiting for with great excitement. What I know of this will be their first visit which will last from May 12-14th and of course am I ready to share everything with you. To me this is a little more special than usual because a good friend of my, Angés Colbert, has traveled to Poland with her camera to follow the couple the next two days. It really doesn't get any better! I've already seen lots of her pictures and luckily she has given me permission to share some of them with you. Please, remember to ask her for permission if you want to share them as well. At 10:30 am. were the Danish royal couple officially welcomed at the Presidential palace in Warszawa which was followed by wreath ceremony at The Unknown Soldier's Tomb, to me a moving moment. After the wreath ceremony, the couples first day in Poland was all about grand openings, meeting, visits at museums, speeches and of course a spectacular dinner with the President in the evening. A mixed first day in Poland with many emotions.

Sometimes I wonder how Mary always keep surprising me with her outfits. Despite she having a stylist helping her finding the right clothes and accessories, Mary radiate in everything she wears. That glow... I am sure I'm not the only one who just love what she wore at her first day in Poland. I can't be. The combination of colours and materials are incredible! Very classy and elegant with the white coat, black pleated Hugo Boss dress and all the powder pink accessories. Really wonderful look. It was with help from Lurdes, you know her from Tesouras & Tiaras, I learned about her black dress, so without her help I hadn't been able to tell you where it's from. It's a pretty much covered by the coat, which by the way I believe could be tailored by Birgit Hallstein, I still think it looks lovely. What is most interesting about this outfit, in my opinion, is differently how she has chosen to "loosen it all up" with the stunning powder pink accessories. Her Gianvito Rossi pumps immediately caught my eye; they are not new but wauw they look amazing on her. We saw them the first time when she attended the presentation of The Brain Prize 2014. Perfectly matching is her new hat which I think is made by milliner Susanne Juul because in an introduction video on her website I see something very similar to the one Mary is wearing. Watch it here (00:03-00:04), and tell me what you think. So graceful! She stunned me by choosing Hartmann's earrings, a golden Shamballa Jewels bracelet and rings from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Makes a combo with the rest of the outfit such as the black Carlend Copenhagen clutch does. A wonderful look that really amaze me!

Crown Prince Frederik & Crown Princess Mary attending dinner with the President

Photo @Agnés Colbert
After a long day in Poland, the Crown Prince couple changed for something a little more elegant when they attended a dinner with the President. The couple are on official visit in Poland for the next three days and have already met so many people representing each and their own business. Frederik and Mary weren't the only ones attending the fine dinner; Trade-and Development Minister such as representatives from Danish and Polish companies attended. Before the President made his welcome speech, everybody greeted the Crown Prince couple who met them all with a huge smile on their faces. With Mary on his left side and Frederik on his right side, the President welcomed them all and told how honored he is that the couple are visiting Poland. The tables were beautifully decorated with red and white flowers -Denmark's national colours. Honoring the Danish royal couple, four Danish flags were a part of the decoration. That simply makes me proud every time I see it. Then the couple and guests were left on their own to enjoy a splendid evening together.

Photos @Agnés Colbert

What Mary wore at the dinner may no be the typical "dinner outfit". If I should meet the President of Poland I am not sure this is the first dress I would pick. I simply adore it because it's so 'unusual'. Mary always manage to make everything look so stylish no matter what she is wearing. With the right accessories and hairstyle, she rocked that new dark grey dress! Recognizing the style right away I ID'd her dress as Signe Bøgelund-Jensen -one of he most talented Danish designer we have. Reminds me a lot of her black A-line skirt from the same designer, I'm sure you remember it. I wouldn't mind adding that dress to my own wardrobe, would you? Keeping the look minimalistic but not bold, she dazzled with a brooch from Elise Gug, stunning Cenius & Bach earrings and a diamond ring combination of Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen rings. Looks really classy! I have told the story a million times before, but somewhere hidden is a little blue stone, on the earrings, representing Mary being a royal. On the backside is her monogram 'M'. A pair of symbolic earrings with a story to tell. This is what I like most about jewelleries; there is always a story to tell. She accessorized the grey dress with a black Bottega Veneta clutch, a larger version of the classic knot clutch, and a pair of Gianvito Rossi pumps. Also notice her incredible curly hair and the beautiful evening makeup. Berry lips and grey dress = !!!!

The Final Eurovision Song Contest 2014

Saturday, May 10th

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended the final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen.

Bt.dk

The grand final is here! And what better why than celebration Denmark as the host country of the Eurovision Song Contest to invite the Crown Prince Couple. Only two days ago, on May 8th, attended Mary along with Prince Christian and Princess Isabella the second semi-final of the contest which took place in Copenhagen like the grand finale did two days later. Prominent guests arrived one by one to watch the long-awaited final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 hosted by Denmark this year because Emilie de Forest won with her song Only Teardrops last year. The Danes haven't been talking about anything else for the last couple of weeks and it is suppose to be a major show with incredible special-effects. As some of the last ones, arrived Frederik and Mary both in an excellent mood. Laughing, joking and clearly ready to enjoy the evening together watching the finale live. And from the pictures I have seen I believe they both had a wonderful night, celebrating Austria when they won. Which of course deserves a congratulations from me!

Like the show was predicted to be this amazing show, something no one has every seen before I have to admit that I have been looking so much forward to see what Mary would be wearing at an evening like this. I do not think she has ever attended something similar before. My expectation was major! And I differently wasn't disappointed. A truly remarkable outfit she wore at the contest. With an outfit like this, Mary showed how to represent a small country like Denmark. She litteraly brightened up the room in her brand new kimono found at Rabens Saloner. She radiated like no one else! The kimono features the most incredible embroidered details, fringes and colourful rhinestones. I'm so fascinated. What is not to love about it?! She perfectly matched it with a simple black dress and her ostrich clutch from Jayson Brunsdon. With all these accessories I would feel way overdressed but Mary makes it work -as always. It's not too much at all. Her eye makeup was flawless and her hair was just smashing. Curly hair makes her look so beautiful, especially because of the huge Amrita Singh earrings you really noticed how stunning her hair is. Golden as the details on the kimono she added golden jewelleries from both Marianne Dulong, Shamballa Jewels and I’m Jewel. Wauw there are so many things to look at. I can't stop staring. And those shoes?! -glitter leopard pumps from Gianvito Rossi (Pre AW12). This is one fashionable outfit.

The Battle of Heligoland in 1864

Friday, May 9th

Crown Princess Mary attended the 150th anniversary celebration of the battle of Heligoland in Kristiansand, Norway, taking place on warship Manø. The Crown Princess was accompanied by Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway.

The Battle of Heligoland, 1864
On May 9th 1864, the Danish naval force faced an Austrian-Prussian squadron in Heligoland. The Danes had blocked the waters of Heligoland to stop Prussian ships and the Austro-Prussian attack was an attempt to break the blockade. The Danes won when the Austrian ship, the frigate Schwartzberg, was set on fire. This is now 150 years ago.

A day of celebration. To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the battle of Heligoland in Kristiansand, Norway, back in 1864 the Crown Princess had traveled all the way to Norway to meet with Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway honoring what happened 150 years ago. It was on May 9th 1864 the Danish naval force faced an Austrian-Prussian squadron. Because the Austrian ship was set on fire and the Danes won. When Mary arrived to Heligoland in Kristiansand she was warmly welcomed by Mette-Marit who seemed to really enjoy seeing Mary again. The celebration ceremony lasted about an honor and the two of them had plenty of time to talk about this and that. They do not meet so often, mostly at larger royal events, gala dinners or anniversaries. This time they had a little time on their own. It was with great pride Crown Princess Mette-Marit showed Mary the beautiful view over Kristiansand city from a cliff top at Odderøya. The two women were closely followed by curious attendance, waving with both Danish and Norwegian flags wherever Mette-Marit and Mary go. For about an hour or so the two princesses enjoyed each others company on board of the Home Guards warship Manø docked in the local harbor. Mary was given a huge hug by the Norwegian Crown Princess at the time she left for the airport, ready to fly back to Denmark while Mette-Marit, according to local newspapers, went to cabin in Dvergsøya a little outside Kristiansand.

I can't, and will not, hide my excitement for what Mary is wearing at this day of celebration in Norway. I admire how she managed to combine fabric, prints and accessories creating this incredible outfit! You may remember that we have seen her in the matching jacket and skirt once before when she visited Estonia to see for herself how the Mary Foundation's Free of Bullying program is used there back in April. It was simply great seeing her wear that Prada suit again! Like how she wore it with a basic black turtleneck and tights, which both are perfect pieces for the weather right now. What I love about Mary's style is, among others, how she manage to wear things twice but always different. That is why it never gets boring. The colours are the same, it's the same suit and everything but still she makes it looks completely different. I like the detail with the hairdo and pillbox hat. Isn't that just lovely? I think the hat might be a Susanne Juul creation. All in black she added a few accessories to complete this amazing look; a Carlend Copenhagen clutch and a pair of SAND Copenhagen pumps. I spotted an expensive Shamballa Jewels bracelet featuring a pink argyle ball reused in this bracelet from another of her bracelets, kinda sweet story, several Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen rings and her Hartmann's earrings. So are you as impressed by her outfit as I am?

Crown Princess Mary attended the presentation of The Crown Princess Mary Scholarship 2014 which took place at University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen.

The Crown Princess Mary Scholarship
... was established  in 2004, the same year Frederik and Mary got married, and it was a gift from the University of Copenhagen to the couple. It is given to two Australian students who have been nominated by universities and chosen by the Danish scholarship committee and award, awarded the scholarship which also is given to Danish students.

For now exactly 10 years The Crown Princess Mary Scholarship has been handed over to two Australian students, studying in Denmark, as a reward for their work. The scholarship is, not to forget, also given to several other students including Danish students. Despite it's must be quite an honor to receive this royal scholarship, handed over by the Crown Princess herself we often do not get to see more than a few pictures -at least not the last few years. And really I can't give you a reason. Luckily I have my own sweet photograph attending the presentation of the two Australian students, Emma Bowers and Harry Barton, who have been carefully elected as this years recipients. Assisted by her lady-in-waiting, Tanja Doky, Mary arrived, friendly and smily, to the University of Copenhagen, in Copenhagen, ready to hand over the scholarship to Emma and Harry who both seemed honor meeting the Crown Princess. Proudly all three of them were photographed on the staircase in front of the University. I big moment for the two students I presume. They both seem overwhelmingly happy, which we of course all understand. It must be a privilege.

As I first told you, this is not the 10th time The Crown Princess Mary Scholarship is handed over and I thought you might be interested in walking down back memory lane for a moment with me to see some of the previous sessions (and outfits of course!): 2005 * 2006 * 2007 * 2008 * 2009 * 2010 2011 2012 2013. So do you have any favourites?

A truly remarkable outfit she wore at this years presentation. So far Mary has never disappointed my when attending the presentation of her own scholarship and this year was differently no excuse. Maybe the choice of colours surprised me a bit because we're in May and she should perhaps be wearing plain white, pastel colours and light materials, which we also have a lot lately. Though the colour combination is a little odd, I absolutely love what I see! What do you say; too much Autumn? I think every little piece of her outfit matched and looks super classy. Why is it that she always look this smashing? Unfortunately I do not know a thing about the two most interesting pieces; the cardigan and skirt. Both of them, look brand new. Do you recognize any of them? The blouse we have seen on a trip to New York in 2011 and I strongly believe it's from Hugo Boss. Do you see the similarities? Perfectly matching the rest of the outfit she wore a pair of stylish Christian Louboutin pumps. Like earlier the same day, attending the second semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, she was wearing her golden Marianne Dulong earrings featuring lots of sparkly diamonds and a Shamballa Jewels bracelet such as a single Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen diamond ring. A figure hugging outfit I can't stop staring at. I also feel drawn to the colours and significant pattern on the skirt which by the way features a long zipper as closure on back. Looks just dazzling!

Eurovision Song Contest 2014

Crown Princess Mary and her two oldest children, Prince Christian and Princess Isabella, visited the attendances of this years Eurovision Song Contest 2014 and watched the second semi-final which was taken place in Copenhagen.

Denmark has a long tradition to participate the international Eurovision Song Contest and last year, 2013, we had the winner song Only Teardrops performed by Emmelie de Forest. In the national Melodi Gran Prix, she sang for a seat in the international singing competition and amazed the rest of the world with her song and bare feet. Her winning is the reason why we, Denmark, hosts this years Eurovision. For the last few months the Danes haven't been talking about anything else than what a huge show it is going to be. My expectations are sky high even though I never really watch the show. But I think it will be a major with everything it takes to make a great show. To you how know just a little about Eurovision, knows that there are two semi finals before the real show often live broadcasted on a Saturday. For this second semi final the participants got a special surprise because Mary and her two oldest children, Prince Christian and Princess Isabella, had announced their arrival to watch the same and meet among others last years winner; Emmelie de Forest. It was no big deal when the three royals arrival but they were warmly welcomed. I was a little shy Princess holding her mom's hand at the arrival. After a while she loosened up and clearly showed who proud she was to meet Emmelie. I think it was a great experience for all of them.

As impressive as simple is Mary's outfit. Lately I think we have seen some... unusual combinations of clothes and accessories, nothing bad about that it's nice to see another side of her incredible style. Not surprisingly she wore a coat from Prada (Runway to Green, 2011), found by Kate, but what is most surprising about this coat is, of course, the bright red colour! It's features large gold buttons and other interesting details around the sleeves and pockets. Looks just great. Mary is not the only one to love this specific model because beautiful Queen Rania of Jordan has been seen wearing the exact same one in white. Both women wear it so beautifully I think. But do you prefer one of them? -white or red. Making a great contrast to the red coat, she had chosen plain black trousers as well as a black lace blouse featuring a lovely lace "collar". If you look closely, you'll see it. With this little to go for I haven't found anything, nor do I recall having seen it before, that looks like it. She paired the black clothes with ankle boots in the same colour. She wore them recently for the first time and still I haven't managed to find out where they are from, despite my desire. Looks like they have a some kind of special pattern in the leather... Reminds you of anything? To me it doesn't. One more thing I know where is from, are her golden earrings that features lots of sparkly diamonds (more than on the model below). They are from talented Marianne Dulong. Final, she completed her "Song Contest" outfit wearing a Shamballa Jewels bracelet and a single diamond ring from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen on the same hand as the bracelet is worn.

Old News: The Premiere of a Comedic Show

Tuesday, April 29th

Crown Princess Mary attended the premiere of a comedic show at the Glass Hall Theatre in Tivoli, Copenhagen, accompanied by Prince Joachim and Princess Marie.

It was about a week ago Mary, Prince Joachim and his wife Princess Marie attended the premiere of a comedic show in Tivoli, Copenhagen. Till today we haven't heard anything about this and unfortunately have I not been able to find out what show they watched. Crown Prince Frederik  was absent because he participated, as member, a IOC meeting on the other side of the world, in South Korea. All completely relaxed, the three royal family members arrived at the Glass Hall Theatre in Tivoli along with everybody else attending. It is not often we get to see the three of them together, shame Frederik wasn't home to attend as well, so I think it's really lovely seeing these pictures. They really seemed to enjoy the evening.

When it comes to the two women's outfits I was pretty surprised of what Mary was wearing. Not something we usually see her in. Way more casual with the rather loose trousers and the baggy blouse. Despite that, I totally love what I see! Unlike Marie, which was beautiful in her black dress and colourful accessories, Mary was a little more casual. Love to see that site of her style. I wouldn't doubt for a second wearing this business-look at school, at a girls-night-out or at a family birthday dinner. Such a versatile outfit! Nor the new blouse or white blazer have I been able to identify, but also only a few, bad quality, pictures have been published. Some that do not show any details clear enough to make a good search. Her trousers was ID'd by Kate as By Malene Birger which unfortunately is not available online any longer. Keeping the style clean and modern she accessorized her look with a thin snake skin belt, her black Bottega Veneta handbag and a pair of super stylish Christian Louboutin pumps. Amazing combo! As jewellery she wore earrings from Louise Grønlykke, a Shamballa Jewels bracelet and a new large watch on her right arm. Never seen it before and at first I thought it was a bracelet. A closer look made it clear to me that it's a watch. A little too masculine to be a women's watch but what do I know about that. Maybe she just bored it from her husband? I think I see a grey printed scarf in her handbag, which could be a reused one possible the scarf I believe is from Stella McCartney. What do you say? -something you would wear?
